HP Laserjet 1606DN How to print a network configuration page.

To setup an HP Laserjet 1606DN printer to your network you will need to print a network configuration page.  Printing this page will give you information about the current IP address, Subnet, Hostname, DHCP status and more.  To print the network configuration page for the HP Laserjet 1606DN you need to follow a few simple steps.


  1. First the printer need to be turned on and in the ready status.  The power light should be on and the machine should be idle and silent.
  2. Next press and hold the GO button until the ready light begins to blink.  This should only be a few seconds.
  3. The network configuration page will print out.
If the IP address is 0.0.0.0 it means you have no connectivity.  Check your cable and make sure it is plugged in and make sure the port is active.
